Hanna Ojamo Is a Finnish director, producer, lecturer, educator and researcher.
Ojamo’s Master’s thesis (Arts Management, Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki 2013) dealt with the impact of the economic crisis of 2008 to contemporary affiliate art museums in the U.S and Finland. Ojamo is currently finalizing her doctoral degree on funding for arts organizations at the MuTri Doctoral School, University of the Arts Helsinki, where she held the position of salaried doctoral researcher and a guest lecturer in 2000–2022. Ojamo has previously been known from various leadership positions in the third sector and arts organizations such as chairman of the Artists Association MUU in Finland 2008–2010 and President of AAF the Artists Association of Finland 2010–2013. Her expert profile is in cultural policy, arts funding, leadership and arts education and she has been invited to a vaste number of expertise positions and education symposiums as a speaker and board member. Ojamo has taken part in several international and domestic conferences in sociology, arts and management, since 2017 as presenter such as ESA European Sociological Association, STP&A, ESA Rn 02, and Cultural Policy Research Days in Finland. Public appearances include radio and panel discussion on funding of culture and the arts in i.e Kulttuuriykkönen, National Broadcasting Company YLE. During recent years Ojamo has been a guest lecturer in the department of arts management, Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki including lectures in cultural policy and funding and planning and leading Cultural Leadership MA programme course in 2022 as well as the Researcher Lecture Series.
